A charmed life.

I am glad that last night I had dreams about my mom and my brother which caused me a terrible feeling of homesick thus I was able to wake up early to drag my plus-sized butt to the office and even got time to stop by at the terminal to buy my breakfast (since I believed I was not going to have time to eat for lunch).

I am glad that today my car didn't run out of gas and nobody punctured my tyres therefore I could go to office with 100km/hr speed as usual eventhough it is only 5-minutes journey.

I am glad that nobody stole my computer and it was good in place eventhough power failure hit five times and brought dramatic confession from all officemates scaterring the words "Shit!" and "Fuck!" all over this lovely workspace. The only jargon word that was heard was "Bodohhhh!!' which eventually was from me.

I am glad that I could stand the heat in this office since they did not turn on the aircond and I was sweating like a pig eventhough finally I had to carry my cpu which is twice lighter and smaller than my cpu at home to this one glass room which magically the aircond is well-functioning because I was the only one who could stand the heat but not my bloody cpu.

I am glad that I managed to get out for lunch which I finally decided to spend two-hours time at Alamanda and wasted over RM100 buying a new handbag, facial products, eye-drops as well as chocolates for my younger-but-taller sister but lost my Careffour's receipt thus I had to pay RM1.50 for parking ticket which everyone knows I could get for free.

I am glad that I'm still happily spending my time writing this entry although I am certainly aware that I have half an hour left to finish all my work before I can go back to my hometown this evening. Shite!!!

This is, my friends, what we called..

A charmed life.

A part of me which you don't want to see.

Starting from this week, I've to work from 8.15am to 7.00pm, Monday to Saturday. And this is going to last for three months or so.

Worse comes to worst, I've to go to Singapore for two weeks most probably on 7th July. All by myself.

How ecstatic~

Currently at the office but have no intention to do any work. Let's answer some stupid questions.

How often do you see your parents? Would you rather see them more often, less often, or about as often as you currently see them?
Not very often as we're about 200km apart. I would rather see them more often eventho I fight with my mom a lot. Hahaha. Well, that's what I'm good at. :P But still my mom loves me the most <-- this sentence is stated just for the sake of messing with my sister. Ah ya, that's my second talent.

What do you most like or appreciate about the opposite sex?
I like most about the opposite sex is how they're confident with what they do eventhough they don't know what the hell they're doing. Women are panickers, we are not gifted in that sense.

Name your least favorite candy. Why do you dislike it so much?
I'm not so much into sweets and candy. Lemme think.. I think it's.. ah wut's the name.. Crunch? Crunchie? The candy bar that has err.. crunchy-but-hard-to-bite gold thingy in it. Duh.. how it proves I know nothing about chocs. I hate it because it hurts my throat damn bad.

Ok wait lemme find the pic.. Found!

What is the slowest realization you've ever come to?
Okay to tell you the truth, I'm not good at interpreting flirtatious words. I can't tell whether they're serious or just playing. But I never took it seriously although some guys were pissed off with me cuz I always said, "Ok cut the crap. Movie's over."

How would you redesign the way movie ratings are assigned?
Hurmmmmmm.. No more 18PL and 18PA cause I find both are irrelevant. For SX and SG, I think age 16 is old enough to watch so I'll change to 16SX and 16SG. Overseas even have age 13 ratings.

What is the most irrational thing you've ever done?
I didn't want to further my study at UIA because I was in Beta year in MMU so I didn't have the heart to leave all my friends.

What is the hardest test you've ever taken?
When I took my driving license at age 17, at that moment, I thought it was the hardest test I had ever taken. But it wasn't that hard, I was extremely nervous. Luckily I passed. :)

Of all the children you know, who do you think will be the most successful? Why?
A gifted kid named Adi Putra. People said he's a genius but I'd prefer to say he's gifted by God. I always look forward to hear about him on the news. I hope people around, the government or who ever do not exploit his talent. Just look at what happened to a smart kid many years ago. He became no one and his life is ruined. (can't recall his name)

In what part of the world--other than where you are now--would you most like to live?
Harry Potter, I badly wished. Haha.

What hour of the day goes the slowest for you?
Between 2pm to 5pm. Working people know why.

What is the worst habit you've ever had?
Taking a long afternoon nap. Glad I'm not able to do it anymore or else I'll get a terrible headache.

If you spoke English with an accent other than the one you currently have, how would you chose to sound?
Ahhh.. good one. I want to have a British accent. No doubt. I think it's sexy. Lucky me I get to hear it everyday in the office. (Just about I finished typing, a British officemate passed by.)

Be honest: how do you feel about people who smoke?
Bad, very bad. No offense, but I have no respect towards smokers because personally I think they're not able to respect themselves because they're killing their own lives. My apology.

What job do you think would be a lot of fun to try out for awhile?
I would love to be on Oprah Winfrey's job. Helping people when money is not a problem? God, it's the most beautiful feeling.

Name some of your superstitions and explain why you think you believe in them.
Let's see.. I believe people who love to voice out their principles will definitely break them in future. If you have things you do your own way, keep them to yourself.

What is the most abnormal thing about yourself?
I can use mouse with either hand.

If you could physically destroy one thing, what would it be and how would you do it?
My team leader. Definitely, mm-hmm..

When was the last time you literally screamed at the top of your lungs?
During Holland-Russia match last Sunday. Damn I lost my voice for half an hour.

What is the most cowardly thing you've ever done?
Can't remember.. probably many little things like minor revenge but nothing huge.

Who is the worst-dressed person you know?
Can I pick a celebrity? Tilda Swinton.

What is the best thing you have ever had for breakfast?
My mom's nasik lemak.

Do you remember the first time you were on the internet? What did you do first?
Hahaha.. chatting, what else. I don't remember the web though. At that time, cyber cafe still used Dial-up connection but the connection was okay compared to now.

If you could teach one person a lesson in humility, who would you choose?
Abuser.

What physical ailment would you most like to avoid as you age?
Osteoporosis.

What is the most disturbing sound you know of?
Screeching noise.

Who has caused you the most frustration in your life?
Myself.

padfoot, ko tag aku.. aku tag ko balik! yeay! you've been tagged. and u too, shinizzle.

There goes the glory, but I'm staying with you.

It took me a couple of days before I could really type this entry. But I guess my friends have been wondering what I would say about last friday Euro match between Portugal and Germany. :P

It hurts. That says it all.

We watched at McD Equine and almost everyone was supporting Germany (including sHa who's a Holland's supporter then suddenly decided to join the crowd. dah~). I knew the whole 90 minutes (plus plus) would be excruciating.

I was upset and distraught. I could barely say anything after the game and I went straight to bed. I was a little traumatized and had nightmares. The next day I went to work, my officemate didn't dare to say hi to me as she usually did until I talked to her about something. After lunch I was a bit okay and I asked her how did I look in the morning and she said, "Masam.. Masam sangat!"

Get over it, you might say. Well, I'm trying my best.. but I think I'm feeling better now. Especially after last night's match between Holland and Russia. I just realized that something I said to sHa had been true so far.

"Both group winners of A and B have lost, like they were cursed or something. Would Holland be next?"

And it turned out to be true. But I'm not a superstitious person. I believe it's more like a coincidence, but I'd prefer saying it more like a curse. Haha.

I am glad I don't remember much about the game which I intentionally refused to remember. But how could anyone forget our Best Actor of the match, Mr Cristiano Ronaldo faking his injury after pausing for a few seconds to wait for the referee to look at him? It was the dumbest thing I've seen so far in Euro 2008. I wish I could slap his face and break his ribs so that he learns how injury truly feels. You, Mr Ronaldo, has humiliated your own country! I am fucking ashamed of your behaviour.

To me, man of the match is Michael Ballack. He outshined during the match. While Bastian Schweinsteiger scored the best goal. Deco was good too. Honey, you've tried hard enough *hugs*. I would always want to say he's man of the match cause he tried more than Cristiano and Nuno did. His performance is blasting and to me (as well as to other football fans), he's the best Portuguese player in the tournament (ah well, please excuse the fact that Portugal is his adopted country). And I must say, one of the reasons I like him best is because he's one of the greatest midfielder I've ever seen.

But if I say Deco is man of the match, certainly you would say, "Ah.. she likes him, that's because!"

I'm being professional, see.

I was truly frustrated with Simao, Ricardo and Carvalho. Simao was one of Portuguese best players and he hardly did any attempt. Ricardo, well to be frank, I never liked him in the first place. Portugal obviously needs a better goalkeeper. While Carvalho, he was supposed to cover Ballack. So were the other defenders but what the hell they were doing? Hula dance? Or simply Joget Lambak?

As a whole, Portugal played well (thanks to Postiga, Nuno Gomes and Deco). It's just Germany was better.. and bigger! They are so tall.. I felt like chickens playing basketball with turkeys. Ballack clearly proved height is one of their best advantages when he scored the third goal.

Last night's match between Holland and Russia started pretty dull. I yawned a few times and my eyes were half closed until Russia made the first attempt to shoot a goal. Then only the game went a little exciting. But overall, the first half was boring.

Andrei Arshavin, making a slap-me-for-being-cute face after scoring the third goal.

I certainly had my respect towards the Russians. They played unbelievably good. They created more chances than the Dutch. Therefore, I believe they deserved to win.

Ruud Van Nistelrooy facing a hard time after the match.

Whatever it is, I already have 17 McD Free French Kiss Fries coupons (already redeemed 1 and gave out 1). I'll give some of them to my friends since I'm not really a big fan of fast foods.

"Let's go home and make cupcakes. They don't hurt."

The Life, The Loves and The Inspiration

I woke up at eight and went to my office before the clock hit number 9. Nobody was there, so I switched on the lights and went to the pantry for a cup of Milo while waiting for my PC to get used with the fact that he had to work on Saturday morning.

Then, to my surprise, my officemates showed up at around 10 and 11. I did every work I could and by 12.30, I realized I couldn’t finish it all. I rang a few of my friends including Fezal who I was supposed to go to P Ramlee theatre with and by that time, I was already half-hearted to go. The theatre started at 3pm and by 1 o’clock I was still in the office. Finally I decided to go home and bought lunch for me and my buddies who were waiting at my home.

I told Fezal that I couldn’t make it. I din want to be selfish since all the tickets were with him. So if I still insisted to go, he might be late. But he said I could make it, thus I changed my clothes and left home around 1.55pm. I brought all the make-ups with me, but I didn’t manage to pack my stuff since I was going back to Ipoh straightly after the theatre.

I sped and reached Putrajaya Central in five minutes. We met there and reached KL in twenty minutes. Don’t bother asking how fast we drove. And we were the second to arrive. We waited in about ten minutes for the rest and took some pictures before heading into the hall. I saw a few celebrities but I am not that type of people who would chase over local artists. :P

Once they handed over the tickets, we went into the hall and there were ushers everywhere. I looked down on the floor to read the seat labels and I was like, “Okay. This is Y. Mine is.. what?” I got like three to four people asking my seat and so I quickly gazed at my ticket, “G. God gracious, G?” I just noticed that we were at the front seats and it was like a long way to go. Finally we reached at the front seats and sat down. We were like, “Okay.. depan gile.” And I replied, “Ni jerawat pun nampak.”

We couldn’t thank enough to our friend, Shidee who bought the tickets one month ago but unfortunately he was not able to join since he’s on duty in Sabah. We even got student’s price with 30% discount. Lucky us.

Oh well, I should also thank Fezal for convincing me that I could make it to the theatre. It was truly such a waste if I didn’t go. The theatre was da bomb! The dancers, man.. seksi nak mampos. I gave standing ovation to Musly Ramlee at the end of the show. I wanted to give it to Liza Hanim as well, but I was stuck because nobody in my row stood up. Haha. I have seen Liza as one of the most talented singers in the world and I always felt her voice is much much better than Dato’ Siti. That night, she proved me right. Liza didn’t overdo it. I know she could blow off the audience with her high range vocal but she didn’t do so. She reached the high notes with only 30% of her true voice.

After the show, we waited at Istana Budaya until Maghrib and then we had our dinner at Kampung Baru. My bus to Ipoh was at 9.30pm so we left the restaurant around 9. Unfortunately Fezal took the wrong road and by accident, we entered KL-Putra Highway and the nearest exit was Bukit Jalil. Haha. I was okay with that, I was just hoping there was still gonna be any bus going to Ipoh. We reached Pudu at 9.45 and the bus had left. But I was lucky enough because there was another one at 10.30pm.

I was exhausted since the night before I watched Euro at McD until 5 and I didn’t get enough rest that day so I slept during the whole journey and I woke up when it was only 5km before Simpang Pulai exit. I remembered my dad asked me to call when I reached Gopeng.. but anyway, I was reaching Ipoh already. Thus, I had to wait for my bro to pick me up in about ten minutes. I forgot to bring my solution and lens case so we stopped at 7E before heading back home.

Ahh.. what a day. I was so tired I couldn’t stay up to watch Euro but I did wake up several times because my sis was watching it and she couldn’t stop jumping and screaming on my bed. Pfft~!

Speaking of Euro, I am so frustrated to see Portugal and Germany will meet up on the QF. It’s just so soon. Portugal is tough but I don’t really see they can win the title. Lol. What kind of supporter I am. But we’ll see. Prove me wrong, Deco!

Euro 2008 @ McD Equine

My triplets - sHinizzle and Padfoot.

While waiting for the match to begin.

Stomachs had been loaded. Match hadn't started yet..

Refill~! Refill~!

A cup of coffee to keep the eyes wide open.

Among the free fries coupon I got (total of 7!). Everytime the team scored, ppl at the back shouted, "French Fries! French Fries!"

We are planning to watch again on this Thursday night to see Portugal in the 1st quarter final round eventho we've to work on Friday. Doesn't matter. Let's worry about that later. :P

The other side of the story.

Part 1: The Birth of You
1) Were you a planned baby?
: I guess so. :P

2) Were you the first?
: No, I'm the second child.

3) Who was present at your birth?
: My dad of course. I still remember about him telling me how he decided to change my second name n*r*f*dah to what it is now.

4) Were your parents married when you were born?
: A definite yes.

5) What is your birthdate? August 26.

Part 2: The Family
1) An only child?
: Gladly no.

2) If you have siblings, are you oldest, middle, or youngest?
: Middle. The one who is different from the others. The one who always wants to outshine and be the best among the rest. :P

3) What are your sibling’s names?
: Ariffizlan and Ayu Nurhaslina.

4) Which parent do you get along with best? And why?
: My mom. She's really sporting and open-minded. I talk almost everything with her.

5) What do you fight about?
: About me being lazy when she's around. hahaha.

6) Do you have step parents?
: Nope.

Part 3: Your Personality

1) How high/low is your self esteem?
: I used to have a really low self-esteem. I think I've improved.

2) Do you get depressed about things easily?
: Not really. I used to take it easy. Things don't always go as planned.

3) Are you an extrovert (outgoing) or an introvert (reserved)?
: More to outgoing when I meet the right people. Okay, I can be pretty loud.

4) Are you happy?
: There are things I wished I had, but overall, I'm happy with what God has given me.

5) Do you live life to the fullest?
: I believe we can never live life to the fullest. We can only try. Life is beautiful when you know how to appreciate it, not to exploit it.

Part 4: Appearance
1) Are you comfortable with the way you look?
: I've to be honest. I'm comfortable but not satisfied.

2) Describe your hair?
: Straight, medium-thick, coloured.

3) How do you dress?
: Casual. Anything comfortable.

Part 5: The Past
1) Were you a strange child?
: Hurmmm..I'm not sure about that. I preferred to play rounders, galah panjang and all sort of games with boys. I wrestled with them a lot. I did hit one of the boys and broke his tooth. I used to receive lotss of love letters too. It was so funny. I got my first love letter when I was 8. When I was 9, I transferred to another school and received twelve letters in just a few days. I was so pissed off and tired of having those attentions so I told my mom and my bro. She had to come over to my class to settle it down (she's a teacher) while my bro who was eleven chased the boys with his friends. It was just so stupid.

2) What did you used to love that you no longer do?
: Rounders! Cycling, knitting, dancing, acting.... lots of things.

3) Do you have the same friends?
: I still have their contacts but not all of them.

4) Was there anything in your past that was traumatizing?
: I guess no. I involved in car accidents but I was not traumatized.

Part 6: The Future
1) What is your ambition?
: Having the right career, marrying the right guy and living with the right family.

2) Are you scared of growing old?
: It does scare me a little but it's what we called life.

3) Do you want to get married?
: Of course I do, but not this year.

Part 7: The Outdoors
1) Do you prefer indoors or outdoors?
: Mostly indoors.

2) Favorite Season
: How can I tell? I live in Malaysia and never been to four-seasons countries.

3) Do you like walking in the rain?
: No, I don't think I do. I don't want to get struck by lightning. :P

Part 8: Food
1) Are you a vegetarian?
: No.

2) What is your favorite food?
: Mom's cooking, rice porridge, soups etc.

3) What food makes you want to gag?
: Anything too spicy and salty.

4) What is your favorite dessert?
: Pudding, banana split.

5) What is your favorite restaurant?
: None particularly.

6) Are you a fussy eater?
: Nope, as long as it's not spicy.

Part 9: Relationships and Love
1) Are you single?
: Yes.

2) If taken who is the lucky guy/girl?
: Lucky you say?

3) Do you think love is the best feeling in the world?
: No. I don't think so. Why can love be the best feeling if it brings you the most unbearable pain?

4) Do you believe in love at first sight?
: Absolutely no, I do not.

Part 10: Experiences
1) What was one of your greatest experiences?
: Experiences that taught me how to love myself and appreciate everything around me.

2) What was one of the worst?
: The ones that took away something I loved.

3) Have you ever done drugs?
: Illegally, yes. :P

4) Have you ever thought you were going to die?
: Duh~ Many times.

Wipe the sweat.

I went to watch Kungfu Panda recently with my triplets and dude, we really had a great laugh.

I found it was hard for me to stop laughing after watching this one scene where Po gets acupuncture treatment. It was hilarious. Everyone had stopped laughing but me.

Po is so cute and cuddly. But what I like the most about this cartoon movie is its quality. It's very detailed. Just like Polar Express which also has a very good quality but I still like Kungfu Panda the best. It took five years to develop but it truly pays the sweat.

Ah by the way, I'm gonna spend my Friday night at Equine Park's McD watching Euro 2008 (Italy vs. Romania and Netherlands vs France)with my triplets! Yeay!! Eventho I support Portugal and a-tiny-miny-support for Germany but that's okay. I've been looking forward to watch Euro with a large crowd and feel the excitement! Come and join us if you dare. ^_^

As for tonight, either Czech or Portugal, if they win they will definitely get a place in the quarterfinals as they have won the first round. Weeheee~ Can't wait. Go Nuno! Go Deco! Ronald-who?

Oh man, this week has been really hectic for me and my teammates. Our task dateline is next week and we still receive defects! I can't wait for this week to end. Oh yea about me going to Singapore. It's delayed but it doesn't mean it's a good news. We'll see. I'm praying hard for the testing to be okay.

That's more like it.

This is what happens when they ask me to fix the program when my brain gets defected.
