Woot woot!
Selamat berpuase, semua. =)
InsyaAllah sempena bulan Ramadhan yang penuh keberkatan ni, aku akan share sedikit info yang lebih Islamik sikit ye jika berkesempatan.
Anyway kali ni nak cerita hal yang dah lama berlaku. Hehehe.. Awal bulan ni, Arsenal, Liverpool dan Chelsea datang ke Malaysia for their Asia tour kan? So ada rezeki lebih, dapat lah aku pergi tengok match Arsenal dan Liverpool. Arsenal tu memang dah plan with my besties, Fieza and Sha. Diorang ni siap beli tiket VIP yang RM388 tu ok. Senak dada aku nak bayar. Ye lah takkan aku tiba-tiba nak amik tiket RM58 pulak kan.. Mahu terkinja-kinja sesorang kat situ. Takpe la, aku dah lama tak jumpa diorang ni wo. Setahun lebih centu. Since I moved to Ipoh. Yes, it's been one year I moved to Ipoh!
So aku cuba untuk ringkaskan kisah dua game ni. Hee~ :D
For Arsenal game, I had to take 2.5 days leaves sebab nak attend training session gak. Rugi lah kan dah dapat free pass tapi tak pergi.
Free pass. |
We chose to stay at Hotel Seri Petaling cause it's near to Bukit Jalil stadium. Bukan kitorang je, ramai lagi Arsenal fans yang tidur situ so bila kitorang check in, mase tu kawasan lobby duk nampak people with Arsenal jerseys berlegar kat situ, semua nak pergi ke training session. We were a little late cause they had to wait for me who had to come over from Ipoh by ETS. Luckily we had a cab waiting for us. So after checked in, terus letak barang dan bertolak ke stadium.
Training session. |
Training session memang tak ramai.. around 5000 people je. But cukup meriah. Best. Sejam gak lah Arsenal players duk training. Lama tu. And they threw some souvenirs including ade seorang ni dapat goalkeeper glove k.. Jarak mamat tu dengan aku hanya lebih kurang 5 orang. Damn lucky he was. Ramai lah berebut nak amik gambar dengan glove tu kan. Kalau aku, aku jual je. HAHAHA.
Esoknya kitorang gi KLCC berpeleseran, makan kat Chilli's. Malam tu lepas Maghrib, bergerak lah kami ke stadium. We left the hotel quite late actually cause tak yah lah nak pergi awal sangat since VIP seating ada nombor. Aku rasa adalah 40 minit stuck in the jam padahal gile dekat hotel tu. Last-last turun dekat-dekat dengan stadium then kitorang berjalan kaki. Suasana time ni memang havoc gila.
Masuk stadium, VIP seats masih banyak kosong. See, they were thinking like us. Seating lain semua dah penuh. Elok je kitorang duduk, diorang start warm up. Fifteen minutes before the game, they went back in.
Warming up session. |
Then, bermula lah perasmian bla bla bla. And the game started. It was pretty intense at first. Few good attempts from Malaysia. But the game got boring during second half. Malaysia memang dah tunggang terbalik strategi. With Aidil Zafuan yang injured, terpaksa keluar padang. Then Safee pun takde kot? Lupe. Tapi training session dia ada.
Injured Zafuan. |
So Malaysia didn't score even a single goal. Not many attempts they did especially on the second half. With Sharbinee and Khairul Fahmi were not up to their usual performance. Sangat mengecewakan. Arsenal didn't push them so hard.

After the game ended, ada price giving ceremony. Sekejap je then Arsenal players turun baling souvenirs lagi dekat kawasan VIP seating. Sha was so damn lucky she got a cap thrown by Aaron Ramsey!! I was near her, about two meters gap with no one between us but yeah I know I am never that lucky. It really made her day and she slept with the cap that night!
Kitorang pulang ke hotel dalam pukul 11 malam but we went to Coffee House for our dinner first. My friend, Simaa and her sister, Ann joined us. It was very nice to meet them. Dapat lepaskan rindu! Thank you, both! (eh kejap, ni dinner lepas training ke lepas match? tak ingat siot.)
So esoknye we three went to see Harry Potter at GSC Signature before heading back home. Lovely time I had with my besties. Would love to see you again someday!! Miss you lots. :(
Okay I went back to Ipoh on Thursday so I had to work on that Friday. Didn't plan to take any leave. Datang ofis, gwa kena saiko dengan ofismet, ajak pergi Liverpool match since he had one extra ticket. I gave so many excuses including that I'm broke but he was very convincing and to be frank it was really hard to say no!!
Akhirnye, aku agree nak join. TEWAS. I did not plan to go at first.
(I gotta go really quick on this. It's almost 11pm now and I have to sleep.)
Kitorang amik ETS pergi ke KL hari Sabtu at 10am. Al-kisah membe kitorang tertinggal train by 20 seconds or so. We could see her at the entrance but the train was already leaving! Terpakse la dia beli another ticket, train pukul 11am.
Then masa dah nak sampai KL, train stopped and there was an announcement about a crane fell down on the railways at KL station. Terkejut lah jugak kan. Then train pusing ke Sentul station and kitorang dipindahkan naik satu tren yang dah lama. So there was a delay there around half an hour, then kitorang reached KL sentral and had Subway for lunch. After kawan kitorang yang tertinggal tren tu sampai, kitorang berkejar ke stadium naik LRT plak. Dekat Masjid Jamek punya LRT, penuh dengan Liverpool fans. In fact masa kat KL sentral lagi dah ramai.
Melihatkan queue orang nak beli tiket, aku dan membe aku ni setuju untuk gerak dulu since aku ade touch n go card, manakala membe aku tu guna Farah punye touch n go (tapi invalid siot. tapi orang kat gate tu malas nak check, dia lepaskan je. haha.). The reasons we had to go first sebab ticket tak collect lagi. Masa tu dah pukul 3 lebih. Game started at 5.45pm.
LRT penuh sesak dengan Liverpool fans. They were cheering like mad in the train along the journey. It was really fun to see. I already had the vision on how the scenery would look like once we reached stadium because of my past experience going to Arsenal game. But my friend went speechless. It was really havoc!! They were cheering here and there. The feeling was really great. Macam nak tengok World Quidditch game please. Hahaa.
Face painting. |
Liverpool fans totally outnumbered Arsenal's. Berganda-ganda lagi ramai. And aku dah start berpinar-pinar merempuhi lautan manusia memakai jersi merah sebaik saje masuk ke kawasan stadium. We had to walk very fast, climbing all the stairs and finally we found the ticket counter. We imagined there were going to be long queues. Indeed we were wrong! Thank God. Tak lama kemudian yang lelain pun sampai dan akhirnya kitorang masuk ke stadium. The vibes!! Unbelievable!
Queuing up to collect our tickets. |
Kitorang yang seramai 9 orang ni managed to find a row for us to seat. Makin lama fans makin ramai. It was full house! Unlike Arsenal. Some had to stand. Penuh kat tangga, ramai tak dapat seat. Kesian la. Actually bukan tak muat tapi sebab seat banyak yang tinggal kosong tu satu sana, satu sini, so ramai decide nak berdiri je.
The game was also better. Many attempts by both teams. Mulanya Liverpool main cool je macam Arsenal. Ye lah kan dah kata friendly game je. Tapi Malaysian team duk mengasak je, main kasar jugak, mana tahan. Dapat pulak sumbat gol kan. Terus Liverpool naik agresif sama. First half lain team, on second half they changed the whole team and the second team was better and more aggresive. Tak terlawan dek Malaysia team but they didn't give up till boleh sumbat tiga gol. We screamed like maniacs.
Crazy crowd. |
To witness 9 goals that evening was an unforgettable memory. Superb game. Tabik spring to both teams especially to Harimau Malaya. Safee Sali was good. Yet our goalkeepers still had the same issues like previous game with Arsenal.
(gile panjang dah ni woi bile nak tido.. kang kul 4.30 nak sahur!)
The crowd. |
Overall I have to say that Liverpool game was much much much more entertaining and better compared to Arsenal's. Yet, Liverpool sombong ah.. takde bagi souvenirs pun. After the game, diorang keliling padang, lambai-lambai, masuk dalam.
BOO.
We went straight back to Ipoh that night and reached around 1am. Tiring day!! Luckily the next day was Sunday. Phew. I kinda lost half of my voice for three days due to all the screaming since the day we attended Arsenal's training session.
Okey lah I have to stop here. Hehe. See you in the next entry! Happy fasting to all Muslim readers.
